SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of the cosmetic industry, namely to a composition for hair styling containing: (a) (1) latex polymer A selected from polyurethane-34; (2) latex polymer B selected from a copolymer of methacrylic acid with ethylacrylate; (b) the particle dispersion of at least one silicone latex polymer selected from the divinyldimethicone/dimethicone copolymer or polymethylsiloxane resin; and (c) the solvent; in which the mass ratio of at least one silicone latex polymer (b) to the latex polymers (a) is between 10:1 and 1:10; at the same time, the composition creates a film having a Young's modulus in the range of up to 1 GPa inclusive and a strain stress at 10 MPa of less than 70%, and also refers to a method of forming or styling hair, including: (i) applying a hair styling composition to the hair, and also refers to a method of making a hair styling composition, including: A. combining: (a) (1) latex polymer A selected from polyurethane-34; and (2) latex polymer B selected from a copolymer of methacrylic acid with ethylacrylate; (b) particle dispersions of at least one silicone latex polymer selected from the divinyldimethicone/ dimethicone copolymer or polymethylsiloxane resin; and (c) solvent; wherein the mass ratio of at least one polymer of silicone latex (b) to latex polymers (a) is from 10:1 to 1:10; and B. mixing the components in (A) to form a composition for hair styling; wherein the composition creates a film having a Young's modulus in the range up to and including 1 GPa and a strain stress at 10 MPa of less than 70%.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a composition forming a film that has the desired properties, in particular a clean/natural and/or "invisible" feeling, no hair splitting, and also provides a natural appearance when styling, curling or straightening hair.
