FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: complex method for restoring the activity of hydroprocess catalysts is described. The method includes sequential operations of desorption of hydrocarbons from the surface of spent catalysts located in a stationary layer of catalysts in a hydrogen-containing gas environment at a temperature of 200-400ºC; passivation of the surface of the catalysts due to their treatment in a stationary layer at a temperature of 100-120ºC with an oxygen-containing gas with an oxygen content of 0.02-0.5% vol.; burning of the hydrocarbon compaction products in the oxygen-containing gas flow in the mobile catalyst layer at a temperature of 270-480ºC; treatment of the catalysts that have passed the burning stage with an impregnating solution, followed by drying and presulfiding of the dried material. The impregnating solution is a mixture of an aqueous solution of complex compounds of Co and Mo citrates or Ni and Mo citrates with diethyl ether and PEG-1500 with a kinematic viscosity of 3-10 cSt, a pH of 1.3-2.5 with an increase in the content of active components in the catalyst by 1-3 by wt. % of Mo and 1-4 wt. % of Co or 1-4 wt. % of Ni.
EFFECT: increased activity of the catalyst.
