SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and is intended for individual protection of the upper respiratory tract from airborne infection, as well as preventing the spread of such infection from the user into the environment, and can mainly be used when communicating with persons with hearing impairments who are able to perceive speech information on articulatory lip movements, such as by a teacher or any mask user who wishes to communicate such information to a hearing impaired. The personal protective mask contains a facepiece that is mounted on a headband attachment device on the user's head. In this case, the design of an individual protective mask includes a microphone, a video camera located directly in the area of the intended location of the user's lips, an element for illuminating the user's lips area, and a light sensor. In this case, the design of the mask contains a display, a speaker, an electronic converter, to which a signal is supplied from a microphone, a video camera and a light sensor, a data transmission radio module, the signal from which is transmitted to a signal receiver and a power source installed on the headband. Elements for air disinfection with UV radiation are installed in the upper and lower parts. In some embodiments, the microphone is a headband-mounted microphone that is mounted on a bracket and is located directly in the area of the intended location of the user's lips. In some embodiments, a laryngophone is used as a microphone. In this case, an element for air disinfection with UV radiation may contain housing with an inlet and outlet window, inside which a fan, UV LEDs and a high-class HEPA filter are installed. In this case, an external acoustic system, a mobile device or a hearing aid with an existing wireless radio module can act as a receiving device for a signal transmitted from a data transmission radio module installed in an individual protective mask. Moreover, in some embodiments, the face of the mask is a face made of a transparent material and covering the entire face.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the personal protective mask by ensuring a clear perception of speech from the user, who is wearing an individual protective mask, by people around him due to the ability to visualize the articulation of the user's lips, as well as by decontaminating the air entering the space between the face of the personal protective mask and the user's face.
