FIELD: management and control of access, possible use for limiting access to rooms, and also to prevent unsanctioned usage of vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, video image of the face of an individual wishing to enter a room is produced, individual facial features are singled out, encoded video image of facial features is formed and recorded. When an individual is detected in automatic presence control zone, video observation camera is enabled. In low light conditions, automatic presence control zone is illuminated. The signal produced by observation camera is transformed to current encoded video image of facial features of an individual. Aforementioned image is compared to recorded encoded video image of facial features of an individual and in case when certain degree of similarity is present, access to the room is permitted, otherwise the access is blocked. In claimed method, as opposed to known methods, for given room a corresponding address code is set, and memorization of encoded video image of facial features is performed by applying it onto access identification card, which contains address code of given room. The card is given to an individual who wishes to enter the protected room. Simultaneously with creation of current encoded video image of facial features, address code of protected room is read from access identification card as well as memorized encoded video image of facial features of an individual. The read room address code is compared to given code. In case of mismatch access to the room is prevented and further identification on basis of video image is not performed. In case of match of read address code and given code, current and memorized encoded video images are compared.
EFFECT: substantially simplified realization of system for controlling and managing access, reduced costs of operation of the system.
