SUBSTANCE: device for UV treatment of grain before germination is proposed, consisting of a loading hopper with a flap, an UV lamp, an electric engine with a gearbox and an unloading compartment, a distribution screw, a receiving hopper with a flap. In the upper part of the receiving hopper, there are nozzles designed to moisten the grain. Inside the receiving hopper, there is a lower level sensor and an upper level sensor for ensuring a constant flow of grain. After the receiving hopper, there is a belt conveyor. For possibility of even distribution of grain over the entire width of the receiving hopper, the turns from the middle to the edges of the distribution screw are made in different directions. In the upper part of the casing, a cover and an UV lamp are installed. The dose of grain treatment with an UV lamp is changed by changing the number of rotations of the distribution screw. To clean the UV lamp from dirt and dust, the cover of the casing is made with possibility of opening.

EFFECT: device is designed to increase efficiency of grain germination.
