SUBSTANCE: apparatus for ultraviolet treatment of seeds before germination relates to agriculture and is intended to disinfect the surface and stimulate germination of seeds used as green dressing in the pig and poultry farming and cattle feeding industries. The apparatus for ultraviolet treatment of seeds before germination ensures continuity of disinfection and stimulation of seed germination, as well as treatment while constantly changing the position of the seeds relative to the ultraviolet lamp by means of a transporting apparatus in form of a rotating screw conveyor with ribs, a possibility of changing the treatment dosage by adjusting the rotation speed of the screw conveyor, a possibility of forming a directed emission flow from the ultraviolet lamp to the treated material, a possibility of forming a reflected ultraviolet emission flow in the focus of a parabolic reflector and redirecting said flow to the treatment area.

EFFECT: ensured continuity of disinfection and stimulation of seed germination, as well as treatment while constantly changing the position of the seeds relative to the ultraviolet lamp.
