FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely a protective mask with bactericidal air treatment. The mask contains a case with means of attachment on the head of the mask wearer, an inhalation channel with a valve that opens when inhaling, and an exhalation channel with a valve that opens when exhaling. The mask has UV radiation sources installed inside the channels for inhaling and exhaling. The channels for inhaling and exhaling are lined from the inside with a material that provides reflection of UV radiation. The channels for inhaling and exhaling have curved passages connecting these channels to the corresponding valves that open when inhaling or exhaling, and/or to the external space. From the inside, these passages are lined with a material that ensures the absorption of UV radiation.
EFFECT: creation of a protective mask design with bactericidal air treatment, which eliminates the irradiation of the face and respiratory organs of the mask wearer when using UV radiation and at the same time reliably protects him, as well as the surrounding people from airborne infections.
