SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system and method for ensuring the interaction of applications in an electronic control unit (ECU). The ECU runs under the control of the operating system. The system has at least two management applications, an operating system security tool, and an operating system kernel. Management applications running in the operating system provide an interface for interacting with other management applications and interact with other applications using the mentioned interaction interface. The operating system security tool calculates a verdict on granting access for interaction of the management application with another management application via the mentioned interaction interface. The operating system kernel intercepts the request for interaction of the control application with another control application via the interaction interface and, based on the operating system security verdict, provides interaction between the control applications through the mentioned interaction interface.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at ensuring the safety of functioning of applications in the electronic control unit of the vehicle.
