FIELD: space satellite systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space satellite systems with permanent coverage of certain, mainly polar regions of the Earth's surface (T). The system contains two main satellites (4, 5), respectively located in elliptical orbits (6, 7), each of which provides continuous service of the geographic latitudinal zone, which includes the polar (northern and southern) regions and territories close to them in latitude.
EFFECT: possibility of sharing the specified service between different users (countries), ensuring maximum compatibility of on-board systems with the material and equipment of existing satellites and launch vehicles, preferably with the lowest required power.
