FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to intelligence satellite systems. Proposed system comprises artificial satellites equipped with necessary hardware that stay in elliptic orbits with inclination approximating to critical (63.4°). Satellite orbiting periods approximate to one day, while orbit perigees are located outside the Earth radiation zones. Two satellites have identical or similar terrestrial paths with longitudes of the orbit ascending nodes spaced apart through 180° (tolerable deviation makes ΔΩ = ± 5°). Orbit points with equal true anomalies are passed by satellites with time shift equal to half the orbiting period. Eccentricities of orbits (e ≥ 0,37) are selected to allow for minimum satellite elevation angles in operating zone and accuracy of maintaining their ground paths. Tolerable deviations make: For eccentricity Δe = ± 0.05, for perigee argument Δωπ= ±10°.
EFFECT: efficient satellite communication and observation system, reduced number of satellites and operating costs at complete coverage of service area.
