FIELD: automatic signaling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic signaling, it is designed for use in noise-proof systems to prevent the formation of an arc discharge during short circuits on the tires of switchgear in closed spaces of electrical substations and power plants. The device for preventing the formation of an arc discharge contains a photoelectric receiver, a current-limiting resistor, a bipolar transistor with an isolated gate, and an actuator. The photoelectric receiver is equipped with an optical ultraviolet filter, a scintillator-phosphor and a photo-converter with maximum spectral sensitivity in the infrared area of the spectrum. The output of the photo-converter is connected to the base of a bipolar transistor with an isolated gate through a current-limiting resistor, and the actuator is connected in the collector circuit of a bipolar transistor with an isolated gate.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in sensitivity, noise immunity and expansion of the device functionality.
