SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to sucker-rod pumping units and their control. The controller is designed to ensure the operation of the sucker-rod pumping unit at a certain pump speed. The controller contains a processor designed to ensure the operation of the pump piston of the sucker-rod pumping unit at the first speed. The processor is also designed to determine the pump fill level for its piston stroke based on the position signal and the load signal. In addition, the processor is configured to decrease the pump speed to the second speed based on the pump fill level for its piston stroke in anticipation of an impact on fluid during the specified piston stroke and to increase the second pump piston stroke speed to the third pump piston stroke speed during the indicated piston stroke after impact on fluid.
EFFECT: inventions are aimed at increasing the service life of the unit components and reducing the maintenance time and downtime of the unit.
