SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods and device for calibration of rod depth pumps controllers. Method includes, based on obtained results of checks of valves determination of leakage load value for pump unit and value of residual friction for said pump unit. Based on said initial values, parameters are determined, which include at least one of the following: leakage load value, residual friction value and rod weight in well filled with liquid. Based on one or more of said initial values and said parameters, one or more dimensions of rod string are calculated, wherein said one or more dimensions are intended for use in order to determine the operating characteristics of the pump unit. Disclosed group of inventions also relates to a material-readable machine for storing data or a disc for storing data, containing machine-readable instructions, which, when executed, are initiated by the calibration unit of the pump unit.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of calibration of pump units.
