FIELD: plasma technique and technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plasma technique and technology, it can be used to produce an electric discharge in a large volume. The method for producing an electric discharge in a supercritical fluid medium involves the electrochemical activation of the initial reagent in the discharge zone. In the discharge zone located in the high-pressure cell, the initial reagent is fed, including a mixture of non-flammable gases and an organic conductive additive in the amount of (0.5-50)% of the gas mass. Electrochemical activation is carried out at a temperature of (1.01-3)Tcr and pressure (1.01-6)Rcr, where Tcr and Rcr are the temperature and pressure of the formation of the supercritical phase of the initial mixture. The cathode and anode are supplied with a discharge current I in the range of 0.015≤I≤250 A, with a voltage equal to U≥50 V, for the formation of an electric discharge between the anode and the cathode. A supercritical fluid is used as the electrolyte.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the stability of the electric discharge between the anode and the cathode at supercritical parameters of the cathode.
