FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedics, neurosurgery, oncology, and can be used for the surgical treatment of metastatic lesions of the lumbar spine. Transpedicular fixation of spinal motion segments, posterolateral corporectomy and posterolateral corporodesis is carried out. In the course of the method, cannulated transpedicular screws are inserted along the guide wires from a single skin incision with detachment of the skin under the thoracolumbar fascia. After that, corporectomy is performed from the intermuscular access, carried out in a blunt way between the longest and multifidus muscles, followed by implantation in the transverse position of a sliding cage, which is then rotated 90 ° and pushed all the way into the end plates of the adjacent vertebral bodies until corporodesis is reached.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of surgical treatment of cancer patients by minimizing the traumatic effect on the paravertebral muscles.
