SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply and solves the problem of determining the length of the compact part of the water stream from a fire hydrant in buildings. The measuring apparatus for determining the length of the compact part of the water stream of from a fire hydrant comprises a pressure meter, additionally comprises two threaded-end pressure fire connection heads, an angle joint, a coarse filter, a water meter and a tee joint installed in series by means of a threaded connection, wherein the tee joint has a threaded connection through a bushing with a pressure meter, an adjustable tripod is installed between the water meter and the tee joint, one fire threaded-end pressure fire connection head has a threaded connection with the angle joint, the other threaded-end pressure fire connection head has a threaded connection with the tee joint.

EFFECT: provided possibility to accurately determine the length of the compact part of the water stream from a fire hydrant.
