FIELD: water supply.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply. Method consists in connecting to a dictating fire valve a measuring device, opening the valve of the fire valve, measuring the pressure gauges at the valve of the fire cock, checking the conformity of pressure at the valve of the fire cock in the fire-fighting mode to the normative value. Simultaneously with the fire valve pressure measurement the water flow and pressure at the input to the building water supply system is measured. Measuring device is made in the form of a plug with a manometer. Pressure measurement on the most remote fire valve is performed in the normal operation mode of the water supply system without a fire and without water discharge, and the pressure on the remote fire valve in the fire fighting mode is calculated by the formula PFVfire=PVV-ΔZρg-Stotal(αQd-h+Qfire)2ρg-iLpg, where PVV and PFVfire – pressure at the input and the most remote fire valve in the fire fighting mode; ΔZ – the difference in the marks of the driving fire valve and the input; Qd-h – the value of drinking and household consumption at the input; ρ – density of water; g is acceleration of gravity; Qfire – estimated water discharge for fire fighting; α – correction factor that takes into account the topology of the water supply network and the presence of a variable over the length of the flow; iLpg – pressure losses in sections of length L, operating only in the case of fire extinguishing, are determined by calculation for the admission of standard firefighting costs with a hydraulic bias i at the actual length L and the diameter of these sections; Stotal – hydraulic characteristic of the general section of the water supply network operating both in the normal mode and in the case of fire extinguishing, determined by the formula where PFV – pressure on the most remote fire valve in the normal mode.
EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of the method is ensured by eliminating the discharge of water from the water supply system.
