FIELD: fire protection equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of fire extinguishing and explosion and fire prevention, namely to devices for extinguishing large-scale fires of classes A and B, in particular to extinguishing fires on large tanks with highly inflammable and flammable liquids. The head piece for an auto-mechanical fire escape contains a housing made in the form of a pipeline of a fire extinguishing agent. A means of attaching the housing to the stairs is attached to the housing from below. On one side of the housing there is a branch pipe or pipes for supplying fire extinguishing agent, on the other side of the housing there is a collector. A comb with fire extinguishing agent supply pipes to medium-multiplicity foam generators connected to these pipes communicates with the collector and is pivotally connected with the possibility of turning in the vertical plane. As well as an actuator with the ability to provide turns of the comb with foam generators of average multiplicity in the vertical plane.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency and safety of explosion and fire prevention and extinguishing of large-scale fires by mobile fire extinguishing means.
