In the method, initially, through an online application via a wireless communication network, a purchase order is formed and paid for, then through an online application via a wireless communication network, a notification is received about the order being in the sterilization box, then through an online application, the selection of the intensity and duration of sterilization is implemented, then information about the selected intensity and duration of sterilization is transmitted via a wireless communication network to the control element of the sterilization box, further, by means of control commands from the control element, an electromechanical lock is locked and an ultraviolet lamp with the selected intensity is turned on for a selected period of time, then, by means of a wireless communication network, information about the completion of the sterilization process is transmitted to the online application via the control element of the sterilization box.

EFFECT: provided is the control of the sterilization box.
