FIELD: measuring devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring devices, namely, devices for measuring the coefficient of friction. The device for determining the coefficient of friction force at rest contains a platform pivotally fixed on a frame with a scale, a container without a bottom for placing viscous-plastic material in it, a restrictive leash, a traction device, a support contour with the possibility of its height adjustment relatively to the plate by means of gaskets, and guides. The viscous-plastic material is placed in inverted bowls with flanges attached to the ends of the three-shoulder case in one horizontal plane, and the support contour is made according to the shape and size of the flanges of the inverted bowls.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the complexity of measurements.
