FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for determination of friction characteristics of granular materials contains body with vertical shaft rotation drive of adjustable frequency, weighing device, as well as a cup and collar located coaxially, the first of which is coupled with the shaft, while the latter interacts with weighing device, while collar is freely cantered on the cup and made with one or more fixed partitions along its axis.
EFFECT: ensuring the results accuracy for the research of friction characteristics of granular materials: the coefficient of internal friction of rest and the coefficient of internal friction of movement of one granular material, the coefficient of mutual frequency of rest and the coefficient of friction of movement of different granular materials, and the coefficient of friction of rest and coefficient of friction of movement of different granular materials with different hard materials, simplifying device design, ensuring secure shift and precise measurement of shear in the gap between the cup and the collar due to exclusion when measuring uncontrolled samples shift relatively collar or cup.
