FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plastic processing of metals and can be used in various fields of industry and science for the plastic deformation of aluminum and aluminum alloys. Method of plastic deformation of aluminum-magnesium alloys involves mechanical loading of the alloy at a high temperature and an external ultrasonic effect, while in the process of mechanical loading the temperature, the mechanical load and the acoustic emission in the volume of the deformable alloy are recorded, and the external ultrasonic effect is performed when critical parameters of the deformation structural transition are reached in the alloy characterized by the magnitude of mechanical stress corresponding to 90-200 MPa, the deformation temperature of 450-250°C and the vibrational energy of acoustic emission in the volume of the deformable alloy of not lower than 15*10-12 V2sec, wherein the ultrasonic effect is performed for a time period required for the deformation structural transition.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the plasticity resource during the deformation of aluminum and its alloys under the conditions of simultaneous exposure to a mechanical stress, a temperature and an ultrasonic treatment.
