FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a liquid turbine engine including a combustion chamber body with a nozzle, a shaft with a turbine, a fuel supply tool and an engine power supply tool, wherein the engine shaft is fixed with an outlet to the outside of the combustion chamber body whereon at least one turbine is mounted on one side in the chamber cavity and a tool for converting the rotational motion of the shaft into a mechanical or electrical drive of the working elements is mounted on the outside, at least one pair is mounted in the cavity of the combustion chamber as a power supply tool, installed at the distance of the spark discharge of high-voltage discharge electrodes connected with the converter of electrical energy into high-voltage energy and with a tool for supplying a discharge between the discharge electrodes, at least one tool for dispersed spraying of fuel - water and/or water solutions purified from solid impurities - into the combustion chamber is mounted on the lateral sides of the combustion chamber. The electrical energy converter is made in form of electrically connected transformer, multiplier, capacitors, transistors creating a discharge current of 5000 to 1500000 volts. The tool for supplying the discharge between the discharge electrodes is made in form of a non-contact electronic ignition including an accumulator, a generator, an ignition coil, a switch unit and a trembler. By making the area ratio between the positive and negative electrodes equal to from 1.0:0.1 to 1000.0 in each pair of electrodes, a high-voltage electric discharge is made extensive. Each pair of discharge electrodes is mounted in one cross-section of the combustion chamber. The tool for dispersed spraying of water and water solutions is made in form of a spray nozzle used to spray water to dispersion at the size of water droplets from 1.0 to 50 microns. Antifreeze and other solutions, e.g., alcohol, sugar, hydrocarbonate, sulfate, chloride, potassium-containing, magnesium, sodium solutions, solutions with water as a solvent, are used as water and water solutions for spraying in the combustion chamber. Part of the internal cavity of the combustion chamber with discharge electrodes is made conical and part is made in form of a semi-oval. An electrical insulation protection from breaches is mounted on the engine shaft opposite to the discharge electrodes.
EFFECT: invention provides increased efficiency of thrust and specific impulse, as well as use of water or solutions thereof as fuel.
