FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: door frame plat band, a method of manufacturing a door frame plat band, and a workpiece for implementing the method relate to the field of construction, namely to the door frame plat bands of interior doors. The invention can be used for the design of interior doorways. The “U-shaped” door frame plat band is made of a single workpiece with the integrity of the outer surface preserved by turning the parts of the product to form a connection to the step “whisker” along the bend line, which runs along the top of two longitudinal wedge-shaped grooves with an opening angle equal to 90 degrees located on the surface of the workpiece. The workpiece for implementing the method of manufacturing the plat band is an elongated parallelepiped with two bases, two longitudinal end faces and two transverse end faces, and with two longitudinal wedge-shaped grooves of the same shape with an opening angle of 90 degrees, which on one wall have a protrusion, and on the opposite wall – a recess repeating the shape of the protrusion. The method for manufacturing the door frame plat band includes the following sequence of actions: a workpiece is formed on the basis of an elongated parallelepiped with two bases, two longitudinal end faces and two transverse end faces, and with two longitudinal wedge-shaped grooves of the same shape with an opening angle equal to 90 degrees, which on one wall have a protrusion, and on the opposite wall – a recess repeating the shape of the protrusion. When forming the workpiece, the groove forming the side of the plat band, which has a fold with a stop, is made closer to the longitudinal centerline (center) of the workpiece. A rectangular selection is performed that forms a fold, leaving a plane between the fold and the groove that forms the stop. Then the grooves are coated with an adhesive composition and their sides are combined, namely, the parts of the workpiece are bent towards the base, one of which has a fold, and the other forms the stop of the plat band along the bend line passing along the top of the groove, thereby forming an adhesive joint on a stepped “whisker” and giving the plat band a “U” shape with different lengths of the sides. Then the plat band is kept until the adhesive composition is completely cured.
EFFECT: manufacturing of a door frame plat band, which is used for the design of interior doorways.
