FIELD: tracking systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for convoying a ground object moving along a certain route by an unmanned aerial vehicle (hereinafter – UAV). To convoy the ground object, an optical marker is placed on it, and a video camera is installed on board of the UAV. To control the flight of the UAV, control actions are created to track the optical marker by analyzing the video stream of the video camera aimed at the optical marker.
EFFECT: obtaining a method for convoying a ground object.
