FIELD: rail vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of ensuring safety on railway transport and can be used to determine and identify objects on railway transport tracks and transmitting data for warning, when moving along the entire route, the train driver, and the operator on the presence of obstacles in the control zone. Monitoring is carried out by video cameras operating in different frequency ranges installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flying in front of the train at a speed equal to or higher than the speed of the train. Drone is controlled by an artificial intelligence computer system based on signals received via a wireless communication line from orientation sensors mounted on the drone.
EFFECT: continuous monitoring of the state of the railway track is carried out, with information output to the driver's cabin and the operator of the remote monitoring and control centre for the safety of all moving facilities.
