SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to a method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material with high electrical conductivity, anti-friction properties, and resistance in aggressive environments. A method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material involves vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite billet in a copper electrolyte solution and applying a two-layer electroplating coating containing an inner copper layer. Next, a carbon-graphite billet with an electroplated coating is placed in the impregnation chamber and impregnated with the melt of the matrix copper-phosphorous alloy under the influence of excessive pressure due to the thermal expansion of the lead melt in the pressure chamber when heated at 100°С above the liquidus temperature of the matrix alloy simultaneously with the lead melt. The outer layer of the electroplated coating is made of lead deposited by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 200 g/l of borofluoride lead, 50 g/l of hydrofluoboric acid and 1.0 g/l of joiner's glue, and the carbon-graphite billet is placed in the impregnation chamber at the temperature of the lead melt in the pressure chamber 5-10° lower than the temperature liquidus of the lead alloy.
