FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material. The method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite billet in a copper electrolyte solution, coating the billet with a two-layer electroplated coating, including an inner copper layer, placing the carbon-graphite billet with electroplated coating in the impregnation chamber, and impregnation with a molten copper-phosphorous alloy matrix under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the lead melt in the pressure chamber when heated at 100°С above the liquidus temperature of the matrix alloy simultaneously with the lead melt. The outer layer of the electroplated coating is made of a tin-lead layer consisting of, weight percentage: tin 60% and lead 40%, deposited by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 35 g/l of hydrofluoboric tin, 25 g/l of hydrofluoboric lead, 40 g/l of hydrofluoboric acid, 25 ml/l of boric acid, 3 g/l of leather glue, 0.5 g/l of hydroquinone. In this case, the carbon-graphite billet is placed in the impregnation chamber at the temperature of the lead melt in the pressure chamber at 5-10°С below the liquidus temperature of the lead alloy.
