SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of seismic survey and measurement at large distances using ground nodes. A long-range ground seismic survey system is proposed, comprising multiple sensors within a region thus forming a sensor receiver region, multiple sources forming a source region, multiple long-range sensor receivers outside of the receiver and source regions, thereby surrounding the receiver regions and sources and forming a long-range sensor area that does not contain sensor receivers, which also defines the distance separating the outer boundary of the sensor area of the sensor receivers.

EFFECT: increasing the information content of seismic activities due to the acquisition of seismic data at large and ultra-long distances.
