SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used for marine seismic survey. Method and a sensor device for recording seismic data are proposed. Sensor device comprises an upper section (330) and a lower section (350) movable connected to the upper section (330) via a connector (380). Lower section contains a bonding material (356) which is released into the ground after the lower section (350) collides with the ground.

EFFECT: increase the accuracy of obtained data by ensuring a closer contact of the sensor with the ground.
