FIELD: explosives engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosives engineering, to the initiator receiving devices for a propellant charge in the chamber of the barrel of an artillery gun for caseless ammunition. The receiving device of the initiator of a modular propellant charge with contactless ignition is functionally connected to the controlling power supply unit and the source of electromagnetic radiation of the ultra-high frequency (hereinafter – UHF) range fixed on the carriage, connected by means of a feeder tract and a coaxial waveguide placed in the gate channel to the radiating device located in the gun chamber, and the initiators placed in the propellant charge. The receiving device contains a device for evaluating the level of the UHF signal, which provides blocking the operation of the receiving device at the levels of the UHF signal less than the specified one, and a device for converting and storing energy, which converts the energy of the UHF signal into DC energy stored in the capacitor. When the specified voltage level is reached, it is transmitted to the incandescent bridge in the form of a short current pulse, thereby providing instantaneous heating of the incandescent bridge to the required ignition temperature of the pyrotechnic composition. In the receiving device, the initiator is located radially to the axis of the modular propellant charge with the removal of the active area of the receiving device from the influence of the igniter. In the receiving device, two ignition nodes are located on the same substrate.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the sensitivity of the receiving device while meeting the requirements of its resistance to electromagnetic radiation from natural and industrial sources and stabilization of the ballistic characteristics of the propellant ammunition.
