FIELD: polymer industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the polymer industry, namely to technological equipment for the manufacture of plastic products. The device for the crystallization of polymer materials contains a case in the form of a vertical cylindrical hopper with a flat lid and a conical bottom, in the side surface of which a polymer material loader is contained. An outlet hole is made in the lower part of the case. A core is mounted in the central zone of the case, which is a pipe inside which a screw conveyor rotates. The outer surface of the core pipe is covered with heating elements. The loader is a screw conveyor with a receiving hopper of the source material, connected through a passage to the device case. The unloader is also a screw conveyor connected to the output flange of the conical bottom of the device case. The device case is covered with a layer of thermal insulation material.

EFFECT: simplification of the design of the crystallization plant, the rejection of additional equipment that provides air heating (heat transfer agent), which is located outside the device case; increasing the energy efficiency of the entire crystallization device; reducing the load on the nodes that ensure the mixing of PET material during crystallization, increasing the reliability and faultlessness of the basic elements of the device; providing the ability to work not only with granular composition of amorphous PET material, but also with various compositions characterized by different degrees of “dustiness”.
