FIELD: packaging materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of film packaging materials and concerns a deep-drawable film. The packaging film contains an aluminum foil as a middle layer and on the outside of the aluminum foil it contains a semi-crystalline PET film which is laminated to the aluminum foil using an adhesive layer and on the other side of the aluminum foil opposite the PET film contains a sealing layer. The PET film has a degree of crystallization in the range from 20% to 70% and Young's modulus within the range from 2,000 MPa to 2,700 MPa. The PET film is an unstretched film that contains a reverse print on the inside of the PET film facing the aluminum foil.
EFFECT: invention provides a deep-drawable packaging film satisfying a predetermined elongation ratio that provides most of the benefits of aluminum while providing improved printability and full compatibility with food packaging regulations.
