FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: inkjet printing method for decorative surfaces, comprising steps, on which an image is applied on a first thermoplastic film using a jet method using one or more pigmented UV-curable ink-jet printing inks on a first thermoplastic film; at least partially UV-curing an image applied on a first thermoplastic film by a jet method; inserting a layer containing a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate-vinyl alcohol copolymer, between second thermoplastic film and first thermoplastic film, having at least partially UV-cured image, so that at least partially the UV-cured image is located with the face side to the layer containing the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate-vinyl alcohol copolymer; where at least one of first and second thermoplastic films is transparent thermoplastic film and where one or more pigmented UV-curable ink-jet printing ink comprises a polymerizable composition containing: from 30 to 90 wt % one or more compounds containing one ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable group; from 10 to 70 wt % one or more compounds containing two ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups; and from 0 to 10 wt % one or more compounds, containing three or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable groups, where all weight percentages, wt %, are given in terms of the total weight of the polymerizable composition. Also disclosed is a system for ink-jet printing.

EFFECT: ink-jet printing methods are proposed for decorative surfaces.
