FIELD: engineering elements.
SUBSTANCE: area of application: in clock mechanisms, namely in shock-absorbing ball bearings of a clock mechanism for a rotating wheel axis. Substance: a guide element (10) for retaining a trunnion (9, 30) of an axis (8) for example, a balance axis, of a rotating wheel in the radial direction for a ball bearing of a clock mechanism, particularly a shock-absorbing ball bearing, is comprised of a main part configured to interact with a ball bearing unit so as to be retained inside the unit, wherein said main part forms a space (11) for holding the trunnion (9, 30) in the radial direction in order to radially retain the axis (8) while allowing for rotation thereof. The radial guide element (10) is comprised of at least three local radial support details (12, 13, 14) arranged around the circumference and forming a radial retention area (11), wherein each detail (12, 13, 14) comprises a contact end surface (24, 26, 27, 38, 39, 40, 54, 55, 56) for contact with said trunnion (9, 30), wherein at least part of each end surface has a cylindrical shape convex to the inside of the retention area (11), wherein said support details (12, 13, 14) have an elongated main part.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increased accuracy and simplified design of a shock-absorbing ball bearing of a clock mechanism, including during serial manufacture thereof.
