FIELD: vehicle tires.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobile all-season tires. A vehicle wheel tire contains a tread band containing circumferential grooves, circumferential ribs formed by circumferential grooves, and a plurality of slit-like drainage grooves (10) that extend on the circumferential ribs from the radially outer surface of the tread band towards the radially inner part of the tread band. The slit-like drainage grooves (10) run along a given trajectory and contain, in any cross-section perpendicular to the given trajectory, a main part (100) having a first radial dimension (H') and a first transverse dimension (T, T') essentially constant along the radial direction, and at a radially external location with respect to the main part (100), an upper part (110) extending to the radially external surface of the tread band and having a second transverse dimension (W) on the radially external surface of the tread band, exceeding the first transverse dimension (T, T')
EFFECT: improving the performance of the tire during year-round operation.
