FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite yarn with a core having electrical conductivity. A composite yarn with a core contains at least two conductive threads (13, 14) as the core and a cover layer (10) encapsulating the core. To obtain an adaptable composite yarn with a core, the cover layer (10) contains staple fibers. Besides, the core additionally contains an elastic thread (15), which has elasticity in at least its longitudinal direction. Also proposed is a woven material containing a composite yarn with a core, a garment containing the mentioned composite yarn with a core, together with a method for producing a composite yarn with a core.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a yarn with high performance characteristics, having improved electrical conductivity in combination with adaptable optical and tactile properties of the surface.
