FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: plant for natural gas liquefaction is proposed, having a C3 cooler capable of cooling natural gas, and a liquefying refrigerant intended for natural gas liquefaction using a simple configuration. The plant (1) for liquefying natural gas contains coolers (31) and (37) using propane or propylene as the refrigerant, and a compressor (35) for compressing the vaporous refrigerant leaving the C3 coolers (31) and (37). The desuperheater (21) is configured to cool the vaporized refrigerant. The combined cooler (22) is configured to use the front section of the tube (202) of the air-cooled heat exchanger (2) as a condenser section for condensing the refrigerant. The combined cooler (22) is configured to use the rear section of the pipe as a subcooling section for additional cooling of the condensed liquid refrigerant. The temperature control unit (354) is configured to control the temperature of the liquid refrigerant flowing out of the combination cooler (22) by changing the heat transfer area ratio, which is the ratio between the heat transfer area at the front of the pipe and the heat transfer area at the rear of the pipe.

EFFECT: plant is effective in terms of natural gas liquefaction.
