FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed are a method and apparatuses for assessment of a trial test of an electromagnetic valve using a positioning mechanism. An apparatus taken as an example is comprised of an electromagnetic valve allowing an actuating mechanism to close the emergency shutdown valve and a valve positioning mechanism hydraulically connected and configured to communicate with the electromagnetic valve. The valve positioning mechanism is intended to issue a command to the electromagnetic valve for transition of the electromagnetic valve from a first state to a second state. The valve positioning mechanism is intended to control pressure change in the pressure chamber of the actuating mechanism hydraulically connected with the electromagnetic valve relative to the initial pressure over the control period. The valve positioning mechanism is intended to identify the maximum pressure change over the control period and to determine the readiness state of the electromagnetic valve when the maximum pressure change is greater than the minimum shutdown value and the pressure change during the end of control is less than the maximum reset value.
EFFECT: improved assessment of trial test of electromagnetic valve.
