FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry, and can also be used in agriculture, chemical and pharmaceutical industries for processing and disinfection with ozone of dry bulk materials - flour, feed concentrates, spices, powder mixtures. The device includes a conical working chamber equipped with a nozzle for entering the ozone-air mixture from below, a compressor for supplying air to the nozzle, an ozonator for introducing ozone into the air stream designed to regulate the concentration of ozone in the ozone-air mixture. A replaceable washer with a hole is installed on the nozzle for entering the ozone-air mixture into the conical working chamber. The ratio of the diameter of the wide part of the cone of the working chamber to the diameter of the hole in the narrow part of the working chamber, is fulfilled with the condition wherein dw - diameter of the wide part of the working chamber cone, dnar - diameter of the hole in the narrow part of the working chamber, υnar - the speed of the air stream in the narrow section of the cone of the working chamber, equal to the speed of the hovering of large particles of material, υw - the speed of the air stream in the wide cross-section of the working chamber cone, equal to the speed of hovering of small particles of the material. According to the method, the ozone-air mixture is fed into the gushing flow of bulk materials at a controlled speed, and ozone and air are introduced independently of each other, with the possibility of regulating the concentration of ozone in the ozone-air mixture.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides a process for disinfection of bulk materials with ozone.
