FIELD: antibacterial materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for imparting antibacterial properties to a sports footwear material. The method for imparting antibacterial properties to a sports footwear material, in which the material is treated with an antibacterial composition, dried, differs in that the material is treated with a solution of the Catamin AB preparation at a concentration of 4.0-6.0 g/l, processed for at least 10 minutes, wring out "manually", then dried in an air dryer at the temperature of the workshop for at least 24 hours.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase the antibacterial effect of the textile material for sports footwear.
