FIELD: textiles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the textile industry, in particular, to methods for treating textile materials and/or articles. In order to solve the described technical problem, textile materials and/or articles are treated at a temperature of 20 to 25°C with a finishing solution with the following ratio of components, g/l of water: tetraalkylammonium compound 6 to 10, aqueous emulsion of a fluoroalkyl acrylate copolymer 50 to 80, blocked isocyanate 8 to 10, modified dihydroxyethylene urea 20, acetic acid 1 to 2, water the rest; the textile materials and/or articles are dried to a residual humidity of 15 to 25%, undergo thermal stabilisation at a temperature of 155 to 160°C for 3 to 4 minutes, followed by calendering the textile materials and/or articles.

EFFECT: creation of a method for treating textile materials and/or articles, allowing for production of air-permeable textile materials and/or articles, comfortable to wear and usable in various branches of industry, with long-lasting antimicrobial and antiviral properties, and simultaneously exhibiting increased crease resistance, water and oil repellent and anti-shrinking properties.
