FIELD: antimicrobial component.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used for painting surfaces operating under conditions of possible microbial contamination. Variants of antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal paint and varnish material containing a binder, pigment, functional additives and/or filler, solvent and antimicrobial component are proposed. The antimicrobial component is a bicomponent nanoparticle with a Janus nanoparticle structure, in which one part is a metal oxide with an average size of 72±18 nm, the other part is a transition metal with an average size of 25±10 nm.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to increase the antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties of the paint and varnish material.
