FIELD: chemical analysis.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for analyzing the gas content in high-voltage oil-filled equipment and can be used to diagnose the insulation condition of high-voltage equipment. The method for chromatographic analysis of gases dissolved in transformer oil consists in taking oil samples into glass syringes, extracting gases from the oil by analyzing the equilibrium vapor in the oil/gas ratio: one-to-one with further chromatography of the gas phase, with heating of the thermostat of two nozzle columns, CaA and HayeSep N, followed by registration of signals on the flame ionization detector and the thermal conductivity detector, in this case, the chromatography of the analyzed sample is carried out in a programmable mode with the regulation of the temperature rise rate of the column thermostat, including the automatic temperature rise after the release of acetylene C2H2 in the range from 45°C to 140°C.

EFFECT: reduction in the sample preparation and analysis time, as well as the identity of the analysis conditions for all types of transformer oils.
