FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to feet prostheses. The foot contains an adapter with an internal cavity that serves to connect the foot with the user's residual limb, an elastic element of the foot and a curved elastic heel support element. The elastic element of the foot consists of a vertically oriented section that passes in the lower part into a curved support section with a toe part. The curved elastic heel support element is connected to the elastic element of the foot in the direction opposite to the toe part. The adapter is installed by a cavity on a vertically oriented section of the elastic element of the foot. A connecting element made of elastomeric material is located between the inner walls of the cavity and the vertically oriented section. The connecting element is composed of individual elements. The individual elements that composed the connecting element have different elastic characteristics.
EFFECT: invention increases the energy efficiency of the foot prosthesis, which should be understood as the ratio of the energy returned to the energy accumulated in the foot prosthesis due to elastic deformations in its elements.
