FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to foot prostheses. Prosthetic foot contains posterior part of foot, middle part and anterior part of foot. Posterior part of foot includes talocrural connection allowing movement of prosthetic foot on closed kinetic scheme during walking. Talocrural connection has connection axis oriented in such way that medial part is in front of lateral, so that it allows movement of posterior part of foot around axis of talocrural connection in such way that said movement is realised in sagittal and frontal planes. Talocrural connection is formed as one whole with posterior part of foot by means of pole made from resilient material of said posterior part of foot. Pole has anterior side surface and posterior side surface, saliently curved forward. Through posterior part of foot passes an opening. Periphery of opening forms surface of anterior side of pole. Posterior part of foot in front of opening includes a cut allowing said movement of posterior part of foot around talocrural connection axis. If one looks at section of prosthetic foot in sagittal plane, opening is elongated upwards in such way that said pole is vertical.
EFFECT: obtaining possibility to imitate human foot in action, allowing person with amputated foot to have normal human gait, and improvement of life quality of person with amputated foot.
