FIELD: drilling operations.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to drilling for the development of natural resources. The friction-reducing composition includes one or more compounds described by the formula Xm-Ar-Rn, where Ar is mono- or a polycyclic aromatic fragment, each group X means a polar functional group that is not -(OC2H4)z, where z is an integer at least equal to 1, each group R is independently selected from a branched or unbranched, saturated or unsaturated, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C50 hydrocarbon group, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and where m is an integer greater than or equal to 0, if at least one group R is replaced by a functional group and/or the Ar group contains a heteroatom, and in other cases it is an integer greater than or equal to 1.
EFFECT: reduced torque and coefficient of friction during drilling operations, which leads to an easier drilling process, especially drilling long boreholes.
