FIELD: tyre tread design.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of the tread of pneumatic automobile tires, preferably winter tires. The tire contains a tread band, which, in turn, is provided with a variety of grooves, blocks and 3D slotted holes in the tread blocks. The shape of the slots is determined by the two surfaces facing each other of the parts of the block formed by means of a lamella of complex shape, have a similar configuration, so that the recess made in the second surface corresponds to the protrusion provided on the first surface, and vice versa, the protrusion made on the second surface corresponds to the recess provided in the first surface, and the surface has the form of a periodically repeating sinusoidal element in the direction of the tangent plane, as well as a U-shaped element introduced in the direction of the radial plane, interrupted in the radial direction at a certain interval and replaced by a U-shaped surface formed from the same symmetrically arranged element, forming 3D slotted holes, the angles of which relative to the radial plane are 55±10°С, and the U-shaped elements on one side of the three-dimensional slotted hole are offset in height relative to the U-shaped elements on the other side of the three-dimensional slotted hole and have the same length from 1.5 to 6 mm, depending on the configuration of the lamella of complex shape, and the number of alternating protrusions and depressions, which form block sequences, can vary according to the longitudinal length of the lamella of a complex shape. The plate of the vulcanization mold of the appropriate design forms during the molding process narrow slotted holes of the required shape and in the required amount in the tread blocks on the tread section of the main invention.
