FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Tire tread comprises at least one line of blocks arranged in tire periphery. Note here that at least one block is furnished with one or more profiled 3D slot-like cuts in radial direction. Note also that said profiled 3D slot-like cut is limited by aligned profiled surfaces formed by plate during vulcanisation. Slot-like cut features the shape of periodically repeating element inserted into surface in radial plane direction. Note that said surface is broken once at least in one direction at certain interval and is replaced by the surface formed from the same periodically repeating element shifted through 1/2 period. Said periodically repeating element consists of lateral arc-jointed sides which, being inserted into surface, form parts (14, 16) of cylinder side surface. Surfaces formed at breakage points and slot-like cut plane make angles varying from 75 to 90°.
EFFECT: efficient contact of tire surface with road coating.
