FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the creation of composite materials by impregnating a porous frame. The method for obtaining a carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous carbon-graphite workpiece in a copper electrolyte solution. An electroplated coating containing an inner copper layer and an outer nickel-containing layer is applied to the workpiece. The workpiece is impregnated with a lead matrix alloy melt under the influence of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the melt while heated above the liquidus temperature of the lead alloy. The outer nickel-containing layer of a two-layer galvanic coating is made of a nickel-boron layer consisting of 98.5 wt% nickel and 1.5 wt% boron deposited by electrolysis from an electrolyte containing 15 g/l of nickel chloride, 100 g/l nickel sulfamate, 25 g/l boric acid and 4 g/l alkyl borane derivative.
